Week 5

Mannequins - I plan to use live models for the private view only, and mennequins for the rest of the show dates.
Fashion Retail Academy is a possibility. I may be able to borrow 6 for the four days. However I can only go nearer the time.

A Dyslexia test should be made compulsory, when one gets to a BA or MA level. I feel it can give one real clarity as to why they function in the way they do. I have always thought I was bad at spelling, however coming back in to full time education as a student, I feel I am really struggling. I find I have a very short memory when reading text. I have to read things over and over again before I feel I have understood what I have read. As for my computer skills, I have a long way to go, however I am definitely improving.
I have also booked to have a dyslexia scan.

Team Building - I know it is necessary to have a good team, in order to optimise my time. In the previous module, I did have a small team working with me.

They key lesson learnt from the last experience was, when the person is willing, committed and has knowledge and experience in their field, it is dynamic and each step of the way you are learning from them, and them from you. The opposite end of the scale is like dragging dead weight. I have experienced both in my last module. So I am adamant not to make the same mistakes. I.e. the key is to go with your initial instinct.
The team I am looking to build for my last two modules, will hopefully be an improvement from my last
.
3D Printing has been something I have been interested in from the very start of the course. The idea of having a piece of your work captured in 3D forever is amazing. The structures will be a part of my collection, all 5/6 pieces when I finish. These will be for sale on my website, or given as gifts to important guests at the show, depending on the cost.
