Week 1

I had to do a PowerPoint presentation of what I intended to do for this Module. His was the first time in all my 49 years that I was going to do a Power point presentation. I did not know the technical side so I found a Graphic Design student to help me plus I had booked myself into Skill Zone for lessons.

On the actual day I had seemed to have completely lost the plot. My nerves went, I felt like I was going to pass out, hands trembling, voice going croaky, then, floods of tears. That was before I did my introduction! I felt so disappointed in myself. I wanted to stand up there with my fellow class mates and give a ‘wow’ presentation, but instead I had to sit down and realised this is not what I wanted to show.  It wasn’t a representation of who I am. I just felt like a goldfish thrown into the sea.There was an out of body experience going on, I’m sure and it seems like the real me was looking in thinking what a mess you've made.
This was just like my first driving test i was so nervous i so wanted to pass, i made one mistake , i then had floods of tears and it felt like the shutters had come down on every single brain cell. I knew i could not retreive anything from my memory it was over at that point in my mind anyway i had failed.

            I intend to create a primary and secondary piece of work for this module. I will be looking at
makeing  a structure onto which i will drape my shape. The structure will be in ply wood so it is not
 solid piece, i may staple or glue. This will mean i need to make 3 experimental structures 3,
followed by 3 final then the garments. Time is something i need to consider , going by the
 experience of my last module where i tried to experiment in printing and it really needed a lot more
time than i had a lot more practice  even tho the end result was okay. 

 This is a perfect example of my computer skills the typing is no longer aglined and i can't fix it . !
